Fact or Fiction: Notre Dame QB Recruiting, Jadyn Davis, & Clemson’s Return

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction

Notre Dame will get a 5 star QB in 2023 and 2024

Farrell’s take: FACT

This may be a stretch but I’ll say fact. CJ Carr is a lean to the Irish from everything I hear for the 2024 class and a commitment there wouldn’t be a surprise. But what does that mean for 2023 standout Dante Moore? He’s from MLK in Michigan and the Wolverines are obviously a team to watch here but I’m just not betting against the run Marcus Freeman is on as a recruiter these days. Even with Carr possibly in place by the time Moore decides, I’m leaning Irish for Moore as well.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction

Michigan is the team to beat for 4 star QB Jadyn Davis

Farrell’s take: FACT

The talented signal caller from North Carolina had a great visit to Michigan recently, he loves Jim Harbaugh and has a strong QB connection with the head coach and his father played at Michigan in the mid 2000s. This one is far from over but he seems locked in on Michigan right now and as the QB dominoes start to fall for 2024, which I think will be earlier than usually, he could jump.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction

Clemson will return to the top of the ACC next season

Farrell’s take: FICTION

Clemson has a ton of talent we know this. The defense should be nasty and Will Shipley is dynamic on offense. But they also have a QB question while others in the ACC do not. In a cumulative manner I’ll take the field with teams like Wake Forest, NC State, Miami, Virginia and others all boasting elite QB play while Clemson sorts out the DJ Uiagalelei situation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
