16. Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
A lot of analysts didn’t like this pick here by the Commanders. Many had Dotson rated in the WR 7-9 range in this draft. I was a little higher on Dotson however, he was my 6th overall receiver in the draft. Other than Drake London, Dotson is the best contested-catch receiver in this draft. He runs clean routes and uses a lot of physicality to create separation. He is undersized which hurt his draft stock, but the big play potential is there, so I like this pick, though I think they could have waited, or possibly traded down and still gotten him later in the first or early second round. Good pick, a bit early in my opinion.
