Dazalin Worsham Heading to Auburn

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Auburn has looked like they would need some offensive pieces to develop quickly this offseason or look outside the program for help. They’ve landed some outside help in Miami transfer receiver Dazalin Worsham.

Worsham is a 6-foot, 185-pound receiver with four years of eligibility remaining. Originally from Trussville, Alabama, Worsham was a 3-star undersized receiver out of high school. He held offers from Miami, Arkansas, Duke, and Florida State before choosing to commit to the Hurricanes.

During his two seasons with Miami Worsham only saw action in one game in 2020 however he was looking promising this spring for Miami before electing to transfer. Although in the Hurricane’s spring game he was limited to just one reception for five yards, he has ability in the slot.

Auburn is in need of receivers so the opportunity for Worsham to make an impact will be there but his lack of speed will limit his big-play ability in the SEC. Worsham ran a 4.8 forty-yard dash in high school. Worsham does have steady hands and could provide solid depth to Auburn’s receiving corps.

On an impact rating, he’s a low 3-star transfer. He will provide a depth receiver to Auburn and is a guy who can start in a pinch this season. With three years of eligibility remaining, there is a chance that down the road Worsham becomes an impact player and maybe even a one or two-year starter later in his career.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
