[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”965″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Ever since he officially entered in early March, Georgia Southern transfer linebacker Eldrick Robinson II has been one of the busiest players in the portal. With multiple offers on the table, two official visits complete and plenty of other schools still in the picture, Robinson gave an update on his current situation.

Since entering the portal, offers have come in from East Carolina, Appalachian State, Marshall, Charlotte, Middle Tennessee, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, FAU, West Florida, Missouri State, Campbell and Eastern Kentucky.

His first official visit was to East Carolina.

“East Carolina is a great program and has an amazing culture built,” said Robinson.” They had a great family vibe from the players and coaches, and I’d also have a great opportunity to go to the next level and further in life with my degree.”

Over the weekend, he took his second visit to Tulane.

“It was a great visit,” said Robinson “I liked the city and the school had a lot of great opportunities for business and football.”

He does not have his next official visit planned yet but is hoping to make his decision in the coming days. Aside from the schools that have already offered, Robinson is also receiving steady interest from Wake Forest, Duke, Penn State, Rutgers, West Virginia, and UCF.

Having just completed a true freshman season that saw him finish with 75 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and two interceptions, the young linebacker knows what he is looking for in his next program.

“I’m looking for a great place to play ball and with a good family atmosphere,” said Robinson. “Also a place with opportunities to grow both on and off the field and get to the next level.”

Wherever he may end up, he does have an idea on when he would like to make his final decision.

“I would like to make my decision in mid-May so that I can come in, learn the defense and get started,” he said.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
