Scouting Report

Solid height and size and a good athlete displaying good traits of foot quickness, hand quickness, and bend. Good Gap blocker, with good explosion and drive off the ball, with good hand placement and block fit to sustain the block and open the gap. Takes adequate angles to the second level which can cause him to be out of position to fit the block and become off-balanced. Will look for the next player to block downfield after he finishes his assigned block and play through the whistle. Good pass protector in vertical and jump sets with very good initial set points, utilizing very good footwork with a balanced base. Good strength and explosiveness in his punch that will halt the rusher but can mistime his punch causing him to lunge into blocks and become off-balanced. Understands pass blocking schemes and stays disciplined in his assignment, knowing when to pass off rushers and to pick up stunts and twists. Overall, a good prospect who will have the ability to play tackle or guard and could find early playing time due to his developed technique and size.
