Scouting Report
Offensive line prospect who has received several offers from Division 1 schools. He plays right tackle in high school, but he has adequate height for a college Tackle and will likely get pushed inside if he does not grow any more. He has visible increase in weight and mass from his sophomore to junior season and has room for more in his frame. He has quick feet and good flexibility and bend but has adequate foot speed and hand quickness. What jumps out is his ability to latch onto defenders and drive them for the duration of the play with very good block sustain. Out of his stance, he has short quick steps that gets him into position for his block, but he struggles with his hand placement and often has his hands on the outside of the defender and does not refit them inside. He shows good processing of blocks and ability to get to the second level. His size and strength allow him to overcome this in high school, but it will need to be addressed to succeed at the next level. He has adequate set points in pass pro and is slow in his kick steps. He tends to catch pass rushers rather than punch them due to his adequate hand speed, but he can gain a latch and stop the rusher from making a counter move. During his blocks he has good balance and leg drive, and good physical toughness. Overall, a good prospect who will likely gain more offers as time goes on and should see game action by his second or third year.
