Scouting Report

OT prospect with good height and very good weight. Adequate athletic ability with adequate foot speed and quickness, flexibility, bend, and explosiveness. Plays with very good strength and can out match defensive ends and tackles. Solid pass protection with solid set points and use of hands. Solid versus power rush moves, able to utilize his size and strength to halt the rush. Adequate versus speed rush, not having the foot quickness to match, and will grab the rusher making himself vulnerable to holding calls. Good in line blocking with good leg drive on base, down, and double team blocks utilizing his good strength to outmatch his opponents. Solid pull blocking, with solid angles and positioning on block. Solid blocking at the second level, with good angle processing to get in front of backer to create lane for running back. Plays with adequate pad level, bending more at the hips than his knees. Overall, a solid prospect who will need time to develop his athletic ability but can find his way into a starting role in year two or three at a power 5 school.
