Blaylock has a good frame and plays stronger than he appears. Very good vision, contact balance, pad level, and speed. Good cuts, and change of direction. Runs simple but effective routes, mainly fade and wheel routes, with the occasional screen. An intelligent runner who reads the defense and targets areas of weakness. Efficient against zone and man. Elite ability to get skinny through primary gaps, very good burst, consistently gets to the second level. Poses breakaway speed. Needs to improve as a route runner, and occasionally catches with his body instead of his hands. Projects to be a workhorse back at the next level could be an every down guy early on. High-end SEC or Big Ten level talent.
