DJ has good height and size, with good Athletic Ability displaying very good Balance, good Speed, Acceleration, Agility, and COD. He is a good competitor, willing to take what is given to him in the run game. He displays good Burst with patience to allow his blocks to develop before accelerating through the hole and has good vision to read blocks at the second level to find the running lane. He very good strength and flexibility allowing him to stay balanced and fight through contact to extend the play. He has solid breakaway speed and DBs will chase him down. He shows flexibility in the passing game out of the backfield with good ability to adjust to the ball and secure the catch. He has very good physical toughness and is willing to seek contact and lead block. Overall, he is a good prospect who has received 8 offers and has the upside to be an early starter at a Group of 5 school, or a year 2 or 3 starter at a lower-to-mid Power 5 school.
