Scouting Report

Standing at 6-4 180 pounds, Carter Smith has a below-average build for the position. Adding 10-15 pounds of good weight can benefit him at the next level. He can throw the ball on a rope with decent accuracy and solid strength. A dual threat QB who uses his legs to create plays in the passing and running game. The option and RPO plays benefit him and are a strong suit. Stands tall in the pocket despite pressure and can move past his first option. Footwork is a big need, as with every throw, his feet look weird. Mechanically, he needs work as well.
