Scouting Report

Very good size, and a solid frame. Needs to add about 15-20 pounds to play at the next level. Concerning pocket poise, marginal at best. Likes to venture outside of the pocket moves around without purpose occasionally. Confusing throw mechanics on the move. Marginal the decent accuracy, (completes a lot of passes with poor mechanics, doesn’t consistently hit receivers in stride, but is capable. Dangerous as a runner, lots of courage outside the pocket, as a passer and runner. Lowers the shoulder, good hesitation moves, uses defender’s momentum against them effectively. Good to very good on pre-snap reads, knows who will be open prior to snap. Good mental processing makes decisions quickly. Good short field and midfield pass accuracy. Decent/solid on the deep ball. His accuracy has improved as he has grown older, with fewer bad decisions. Footwork and mechanics need to improve but otherwise is a good prospect. Should be a starter at a low-mid-tier P5 school with a couple of years of development.
