TRENDING: Prepare Yourself for the Next Manning QB

Arch Manning may only have one season remaining at the college level, but that does not mean that another Manning isn’t on the way

For anyone who thinks that the Manning hype that has taken over college football will come to a conclusion after Arch makes his way to the NFL, you’re wrong. Prepare yourself for the chaos that will follow Marshall Manning. If you don’t know who Marshall is, he is Peyton Manning’s son, and the Class of 2029 quarterback has quickly impressed observers.

Marshall already has buzz surrounding him, which grew louder when during the NFL Pro Bowl pre-game activities, he was seen showcasing his arm strength and accuracy while throwing passes to the league’s top receivers. And he is only 13 years old.

He will be a freshman in high school this fall, likely at Cherry Creek in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Peyton has owned a house in the Denver area for years, which is where he raised his family. Cherry Creek is a top program in Colorado, that  consistently produces FBS talent. Just over the last five years, some of the players that have signed with P4 programs include LB Blake Purchase (Oregon), OL George Fitzpatrick (Ohio State), TE Gunnar Helm (Texas), OL Soren Shinofield (Utah) and OL Hayden Treter (USC). The Class of 2026 is especially deep, with several players currently committed, including TE Ty Goettsche (BYU), LB Braylon Hodge (Michigan State), OL Oliver Miller (Kansas State), WR Maxwell Lovett (Kansas State), RB Jayden Fox (UConn), DE Cade Holles (Fresno State) and QB Brady Vodicka (Louisiana Tech).

All eyes will be on Manning to see how he progresses in the coming years. Currently only 5-foot-6 and 130-pounds, there is plenty of time for him to physically mature into a top-level recruit like many of the other quarterbacks in his family.

His family has already produced quarterbacks for three SEC programs (Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas), could he follow his father to Knoxville or possibly blaze his own trail at a fourth SEC program? You can be sure that we will hear all about it.
