The football-rich state of North Carolina is loaded with talented quarterbacks, including 2026 signal-caller Jacob Moore.
At 6-foot, 185 pounds, Moore led the Terry Sanford High School Bulldogs to a 12-2 record, a conference title and a playoff berth. Moore completed 66 percent of his passes for 1,601 yards, 20 TDs and only six INTs.
In addition, Moore gained 993 yards and 16 scores on the ground. A team captain, Moore was named the Conference Player of the Year and was selected for the All-Region team.

Carolina Recruits ranks Moore among the 10th-best 2026 quarterbacks in the state.

Moore practices hard and trains harder on his fundamentals and technique for the position with quarterback trainer Patrick Pickney. Together, Pickney and Moore work on reading defenses, footwork and his throwing mechanics.
Additionally, Moore trains with weights four days a week, working with both the school’s strength coach and a personal trainer. He also studies film twice a week, both with his coaches and on his own.
On the academic side, Moore is a shining star, maintaining a 3.8 GPA with an AP and Honors course load.

Moore is the consummate leader and has earned his teammates’ respect. He has a high football I.Q. and can beat you with his legs as well as his arm. A student of the game, Moore is always studying and constantly working on his craft.
Moore has received interest from schools such as East Carolina, Randolph-Macon and Catawba. He has also scheduled attendance at select football summer camps and talent showcases to increase his exposure.
