Mike Farrell is the Godfather of college football recruiting. In the game for more than 25 years, Farrell was the national recruiting director at rivals.com for over 20 years.
Alec Nederveld, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief
Alec Nederveld is a Central New York native and student at Xavier University. In addition to editing, he writes and creates graphics for Mike Farrell Sports. Alec is a member of the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and covers Syracuse University for the Fansided site Inside the Loud House.
Ty Scheiner, Managing Editor
Ty Scheiner is a college football writer and podcaster. He serves as the Managing Editor at CFBTalkDaily and hosts a weekly short-form podcast called “Ty’s 2 Minute Drill,” where he delivers all the latest college football news in under two minutes. His specific interests lie in the Group of Five, the impact of football operations and the evolving role of general managers in college football, and overall business aspects of the sport. Ty holds an MBA from UMass Amherst and collegiate experience includes roles such as Assistant to the Director of Player Operations at UMass, Assistant to Player Personnel at D3 Amherst College, and Director of Social Media for UMass Football. Additionally, Ty works in digital marketing.

Kyle Golik, Lead Columnist
Kyle Golik currently serves as the Lead Columnist for Mike Farrell Sports. He began writing for Bleacher Report back in 2008 and has been a freelancer for various outlets and blogs since. Kyle is a member of both the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA), and a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.
Rock Westfall, National Columnist
Rock Westfall is a former professional sports gambler and the winner of several handicapping championships, including the Winner’s Circle. Since 1989 he has worked as a handicapping consultant, sports gambling journalist, and a radio/podcast host/guest. Also, Rock has extensively covered the history of the American Football League, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the original NHL Expansion decade. He currently writes for several online sportsbooks covering sports gambling and news.

Jay Berry is a former offensive lineman with experience as both a player and a coach, which includes college football experience. Jay spent time at the NAIA level, and played in a National minor league. He is the host of Boston Sports Friday on X and YouTube. In his spare time. he enjoys gardening with his girlfriend, and time at the beach.

Brett Daniels is a College Football writer who specializes in Conference Realignment and the SEC. He has been a College Football fan since 1978 and longs for the old days of bowls and split championships.
Mike Huesmann, Coaching Specialist
Mike Huesmann is a college football writer and podcaster. He specializes in the coaching carousel and G5 news. Mike is on the Gridiron Eve podcast weekly. He is a former D3 player and coach at levels ranging from high school to FCS. He is also a college professor in special education.

Cole Kruger is a student at Florida State University and a communications major who is looking to break into broadcasting but has been writing about sports for about 3 years. Cole has written for LFG Sports, as well as a contributing writer for Fish on First: A Miami Marlins blog. Since getting to FSU he has volunteered for Seminole Productions and writes for FSU blog Chop Chat.

Dorrington Myers is a staff writer for Mike Farrell Sports, with a focus and strong background in the Quarterback position. He currently serves as the national quarterback analyst for both DraftHBCU and Qb1nation. Additionally, Dorrington is the founder of the Sandwolf Quarterback Academy and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Finally, Dorrington has experience as an Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach.
