Texas is the Choice for Former Tide WR Agiye Hall

Transfer Tracker Insta - Agiye Hall 3

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Agiye Hall was thrust into action in the national championship game because Jameson Williams had been lost to an ACL injury in the first quarter. Hall was relatively effective as he hauled in 2 passes for 52 yards in the contest. But he also dropped what appeared to be a sure touchdown from Tide QB Bryce Young in the 3rd quarter.

Agiye Hall was a 4-star prospect out of Valrico, Florida who came to Tuscaloosa with high expectations. He was a top 50 recruit in the 2021 cycle, listed at 6’3 and 195 lbs. Hall is a speedster with tremendous height who can both high point the ball in traffic and run away in space. He joins Jahleel Billingsley at Texas, who also transferred there from Alabama to reunite with Steve Sarkisian who was OC at Alabama before taking over the head position in Austin. Hall appears to be the perfect guy to add to an already electric duo of Xavier Worthy and Jordan Whittington. Texas also brought in 5-star QB Quinn Ewers from Ohio State.

Hall has very fluid movement and lateral speed. He is able to change direction fluidly for a young man of such length as seen here in the national title game against Georgia:

Sarkisian has been quite the busy man in the transfer portal. In 2021 Texas posted a horrific 5-7 record and lost a football game to Kansas. Texas is not patient with its coaches, so Sarkisian will have to quickly prove himself as the right guy to lead Texas into the SEC. But the cupboard isn't bare. The Longhorns have quite the collection of offensive talent. They return arguably the best RB in the nation in Bijan Robinson and all these new transfers. Texas has everything Sarkisian needs to be successful.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
