Dabo Swinney and Clemson will look once again to get back to their dominant ways. It won’t be easy as they start the season in Atlanta vs Georgia. They also play at Florida State and Louisville at home. They have, in my opinion, the best middle linebacker in the country in Barrett Carter, and have another really good one coming in, five-star Sammy Brown.
Swinney still refuses to use the transfer portal, so that could hurt them again, and to be honest I think it will. However, Clemson will have a much better chance of still making the CFP, as it is now a 12-team playoff.
