Despite attempting less than 100 passes during the first two seasons of his Texas career, Arch Manning is a name that every college football fan already knows. NFL fans are also aware of his talents, as he will be eligible to enter the draft after the 2025 college football season. That is one reason that it was interesting that Arch’s grandfather, Archie Manning, recently mentioned one specific NFL team that he hoped his grandson would play for.
Everyone knows that Arch Manning will be the starting quarterback at Texas next season after Quinn Ewers makes his way to the NFL. It is also known that if he stays on the current path, he will be a high first-round draft pick in 2026. So, it makes sense that Archie Manning was asked about his grandson’s NFL future:
Archie Manning wants Arch to be a Dallas Cowboy👀

While it is just a random comment by Archie, it is one that Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones would love to see become reality. However, it would also mean that the Cowboys would have to have another disastrous season in 2025, since it would likely take a high first-round draft pick to make it happen.
There is also the issue of Dak Prescott being signed to a 240M, four-year contract that runs through the 2028 season. But if Jones and the Cowboys have any chance to draft Arch, you can be assured that they will do it. And now they know that an important member of the Manning family would also be happy if it happened.
