Being loud and opinionated is one thing, but these 10 media members think that they’re way cooler than they actually are. This is a list focused on media members who think they know everything about football:
1. Skip Bayless
By far the most arrogant of the group and that’s saying something since most of these guys are narcissistic. Bayless comes off as a pompous ass and doesn’t have a ton of football knowledge.
2. Nick Wright
He looks like a muppet and thinks he’s smarter than everyone else to the point where he destroys his credibility by trying to be too contrarian.
3. Stephen A Smith
Surprised he’s not No. 1? His arrogance is way up there but he’s a basketball guy first who thinks he knows football but doesn’t.

4. Ryan Clark
Clark got where he is as a broadcaster like he did as a player, with a chip on his shoulder and trying to prove people wrong. The problem with that is he’s too sensitive and defensive which is the opposite of cool.
5. Clay Travis
He’s made his name being a contrarian and doesn’t speak about football as much as the others on this list but when he tries it’s painful to hear.

6. Dan Orlovsky
I don’t think Dan is a bad guy, but he’s made his way with some outrageous takes. His stubbornness in regards to certain takes that he simply won’t let go of make him come off poorly at times.
7. Paul Finebaum
Maybe he doesn’t think he’s cool as it’s impossible with that 115-pound frame and those massive ears but he thinks he’s smarter than the room and that comes off as trying to be too cool.

8. Desmond Howard
Despite laughing at everything that’s said by anyone and awful takes, he also tries to come off as cool and he’s a nerd who happened to win a Heisman.
9. Brandon Walker
I’ve become a big Barstool guy but he’s the one personality I just can’t get behind. He wants to be cool and fit in too badly and it doesn’t work.
10. Emmanuel Acho
Acho is louder than most and comes off as brash and wanna-be cool but he’s just a bit of a windbag.
