We move to part two of my projected College Football 25 ratings, the QBs. As seen in my 95+ overall article, I predict four QBs will be rated 95 or higher. We will see two of them today. Later, I will predict the in-game rating for every projected QB starter in the P4 conferences and give the top 25 G5 starters. Part one, this article, will look at the ACC and SEC QBs.
ACC:
ACC Notes:
We have some good, but no elite, QBs in the ACC. DJ Uiagalelei, Cameron Ward, and Preston Stone are probably the only three who have a realistic chance to hit 90 and I believe they do. Ward is a guy I feel like the game will be generous to, maybe to the point of an inflated rating. Uiagalelei is a known guy on a playoff contender. Stone is on a sneaky good team and will put up significant stats. Grayson McCall, three-time Sun Belt player of the year, is an interesting one now that he is with the Wolfpack. We see several portal faces in this conference with other guys like Kyle McCord and Maalik Murphy.
Pitt is another interesting one with the three-man race for the starting job. This spring, Nate Yarnell is listed atop the depth chart, so he gets the nod. Cade Klubnik is another guy on a playoff contender who may get an inflated rating, but he’s solidly in the mid to higher 80s.

SEC Notes:
Top to bottom probably the highest-rated QB conference, granted this will be the case with several positions. The SEC is the only conference with two 95+ QBs in Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck. We have a few guys here who could see a wide range in ratings so I had to make educated guesses on historical ratings and poll other people who know the game. Taylen Green, Brock Vandagriff, Garrett Nussmeier, Jackson Arnold, Lenorris Sellers, and Nico Iamaleava are all guys who we have seen glimpses of but haven’t played a ton of meaningful snaps in college.
In addition, Quinn Ewers just missed the 95 club, Graham Mertz showed flashes last year of being a solid P4 starter, and Jaxson Dart should be over 90 with Conner Weigman and Brady Cook knocking on the door, but falling slightly short. Weigman looked brilliant last September before getting hurt and Cook is coming off of an exceptional season and will have the game’s top WR in Luther Burden.
Blake Shapen looked decent at Baylor when he played and the QB-friendly system of Jeff Lebby should help him. Finally, as noted in the 95+ article, I believe Beck will be the game’s highest-rated QB overall.
