5. Notre Dame: 54-13 (80.60%)

6. Oregon: 49-13 (79.0%)

7. Clemson: 50-16 (75.8%)

8. BYU: 45-18 (71.4%)

9. Ole Miss: 44-18 (70.97%)

10. Penn State: 45-19 (70.31%)

11. SMU: 44-19 (69.8%)

12. Texas: 45-20 (69.2%)

Review: Not too many surprises, with Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama clearly in the upper echelon and then everyone else chasing. It will be interesting to see if BYU and SMU can continue their winning ways after making the jump to P4 and how Oregon and Texas adjust to life in the Big Ten and SEC.

Middle Tier

13. Iowa: 42-20 (67.7%)

14. Oklahoma: 42-21 (66.67%)

      Washington: 38-19 (66.67%)

17. Kansas State: 40-23 (63.49%)

      LSU: 40-23 (63.49%)

      North Carolina State: 40-23 (63.49%)

33. Kentucky: 33-29 (53.2%)

34. Houston: 31-28 (52.54%)

35. West Virginia: 32-29 (52.46%)

36. Florida: 33-30 (52.38%)

37. Maryland: 29-27 (51.8%)

38. Illinois: 30-28 (51.72%)

39. Wake Forest: 31-29 (51.67%)

40. Baylor: 31-30 (50.8%)

      South Carolina: 31-30 (50.8%)

41. Duke: 31-31 (50.0%)

Review: Overall, this is a group that has plenty of schools heading in opposite directions. There is optimism in places like South Carolina, Illinois, Texas Tech and North Carolina, while concern is growing in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Maryland and Oklahoma State. In the world of NIL and the transfer portal, finding positive consistency gets increasingly difficult for programs that struggle to find the money to replenish lost talent.

Bottom Tier

42. Arkansas: 30-31 (49.2%)

43. Arizona State: 27-28 (49.1%)

44. Michigan State: 27-29 (48.2%)

45. Boston College: 29-32 (47.5%)

46. Syracuse: 29-33 (46.8%)

47. Auburn: 28-33 (45.9%)

48. Virginia Tech: 27-32 (45.8%)

49. Indiana: 26-31 (45.6%)

50. Mississippi State: 27-34 (44.3%)

51. Rutgers: 26-34 (43.3%)

52. Purdue: 24-33 (42.1%)

57. Virginia: 22-34 (39.3%)

58. Nebraska: 22-35 (38.6%)

59. Kansas: 22-37 (37.3%)

60. Arizona: 20-34 (37.0%)

61. Stanford: 16-38 (29.6%)

62. Vanderbilt: 16-42 (27.6%)
