Jordan Seaton, OL, Colorado
Five-star freshman Jordan Seaton, standing 6’5″ and weighing 285 pounds, will be looking to make an immediate impact for Deion Sanders and the Buffs this season. Last season, the offensive line was a weakness for Colorado, and addressing this issue was a necessity for improvement. By bringing in Seaton, they aim to bolster this critical unit. Shedeur Sanders was the most sacked QB last season, going down on 10% of his dropbacks.
Seaton is already expected to start and protect Sanders’ blindside. He made a great first impression during the spring game, and the new offensive line coach already has high praise and expectations for Seaton.
“Being a freshman coming in, a guy straight out of high school, his knowledge is up there,” Loadholt said. “He’s a student of the game. He works hard, he comes up and watches the film, and does everything he’s supposed to do. That’s been the most impressive part of him.”

Micah Hudson, WR, Texas Tech
The highest-rated recruit to sign with Texas Tech during the internet ranking era, it’s no surprise that Micah Hudson is on this list as an immediate impact player in the Big 12 and for the Red Raiders. The team lost three of their top four pass catchers from last season, so Hudson will have an opportunity to shine in what hopes to be an explosive offense.
The 6’0”, 195-pound product had back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards in 2022 and 2023, capping his high school career with 70 receptions for 1,353 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior.
“I’ve been lucky to coach some absolutely freaky athletic individuals, and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone like Micah,” McGuire told TexasTech.com after Hudson signed. “He’s so explosive, has phenomenal hands, and loves football as much as anyone I’ve been around.”

Chasen Johnson, DB, UCF
Chasen Johnson has already made an impact during spring practices, working with the first and second team units and making his presence felt. The 6’1”, 180-pound product out of Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, helped guide his team to a 10-3 record and the 2023 Florida 3M playoffs regional final round. He’s also very athletic, having played some wide receiver in high school. As a sophomore, he was part of the 4×400 team that won the regional title and then took second at the Florida 4A state meet.
UCF head coach Gus Malzahn said during spring practice, “He doesn’t seem like a true freshman. He’s a great competitor, he can run, and he doesn’t shy away from contact. He’s been a very bright spot.”
