Marshall Faulk joins Deion Sanders and Warren Sapp as NFL Hall of Famers on the Buffs star-studded staff. He
was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 2011 after his 12-year, multiple record-setting career. He is a Super
Bowl champion as part of the “Greatest Show on Turf” team in St. Louis and was named 2000 NFL MVP.
He is the only player to ever have 12,000 rushing and 6,000 yards receiving in NFL history.

Aug 5, 2017; Canton, OH, USA; San Diego Chargers former running back Marshall Faulk arrives during the Professional Football HOF enshrinement ceremonies at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

At San Diego State he was a three-time All-American in college. He had 1,630 total yards and 23
touchdowns as a freshman. Faulk finished second to Gino Torretta in the 1992 Heisman Trophy voting.
He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2017.

Sanders and the Buffalos have had a remarkable turnaround in Boulder while taking advantage of the
transfer portal. He took over a 1-11 team and went 4-8 in his first season. The Buffalos then went 9-4 in
2024 and went to a bowl game for the first time since 2020. If you are a high school running back, you
have a chance to be coached by one of the greatest to play the position if you choose to go play for
Colorado.
