Week eight continues with rebound games for Alabama and many other teams. After this week, five weeks remain for players to be named finalists.

Heisman Trophy

CJ Stroud is the clear favorite. Drake Maye has impressed this year, leading the Tar Heels to a 6-1 record. Max Duggan and TCU beat Oklahoma State, and Max Duggan flourished, moving him to third. Caleb Williams and Will Rogers are even. Rogers faces Alabama, while Williams and USC are Idle this week.

The Doak Walker Award is presented to the top running back in College Football.

Brock Bowers had a second rough game against Vanderbilt, with only 15 total yards throughout the game. Dalton Kincaid became a beast against USC and hauled in 16 catches pushing him closer to #1. Mayer had a solid day being one of the few stars in an offensive disappointment for the Irish.
