College and professional teams have long offered interesting deals to try and entice more fans to attend their games. One popular way to do that tends to involve free or discounted food and drink. Coastal Carolina football took it a bit further on Monday when they made this game-changing announcement.
Picture this. It’s September 6. You’ve got your free nachos. Free hot dog. Free drink. The Chants have taken the field for the first time. Life is good.

The first important part of this announcement is that it’s for the full home schedule and not just one game. For six games during the 2025 season there are unlimited concessions for all attending fans. On top of that, there are unlimited visits to the concession stand (4 items per visit), which will be stocked with hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and soda. Yes, unlimited concessions and unlimited visits.
The first home game on September 6th against Charleston Southern will likely be a messy hot dog and nacho frenzy, but also amazing. Credit should be given to the Chanticleers for thinking outside the box.
