1. Colorado will be horrible
How about 2-10 horrible? How about 3-9 as a ceiling? I know Deion Sanders is all the rage and he has a new roster but let’s be honest, many of the kids transferring in weren’t exactly killing it at their schools. This is not the 1-11 football team it was a year ago because the roster is purged but a new coach, all new players, and a tough schedule make me look at this like a pro sport expansion team which usually doesn’t fare well.

2. Alabama won’t make the playoff
It won’t affect Nick Saban’s legacy, that’s moronic of Paul Finebaum to say, but for the first time in forever, I don’t think Alabama is a playoff threat. The QB situation and a strong SEC have them out of that title game.

3. Michigan makes the playoff again
On paper, they are arguably the best team in the country. I know that sounds foolish with Georgia the favorite to win it all but there aren’t many weaknesses on the Wolverines team. Michigan wins the Big Ten and goes to the playoffs again.

4. Florida State takes over the ACC
I like Clemson and think Cade Klubnik will be fine under Garrett Riley, but Florida State is loaded, hungry, and ready to take the next step forward. I don’t know how you stop this offense with the returning players and transfers.

5. USC struggles down the stretch
Caleb Willians is the Heisman favorite and of course they will have skill talent. However, they finish with games against Utah, Washington, Oregon, and UCLA and the weaknesses in the trenches and on defense will be exposed.
