With coaching limits basically being dissolved by the NCAA, programs have been busy adding pieces to their continuously growing staffs. An interesting recent addition happened in Florida where the Gators are bringing a very successful linebacker back to Gainesville.
Welcome back David Reese!

David Reese was extremely productive during his four seasons with the Gators. Between 2016-2019 he totaled 324 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He was also a team captain each of his last three seasons and was a two-time All-SEC selection.
After his playing days came to a conclusion, Reese quickly jumped into the coaching world. He was a defensive graduate assistant at Central Michigan in 2021 and then held the same role at Indiana for two seasons. With the Gators he will serve as a quality control coach with the edge rushers.
