I begin my Power Five conference predictions with the SEC. You’re welcome.
1. Georgia (playoffs)
— A three-peat is likely as the schedule is a joke, and the roster is loaded.

2. Alabama
— I don’t have Nick Saban making the playoff, but they will play in the SEC title game.

3. LSU
— They will fall just short of the title game as Jayden Daniels gets banged up.

4. Kentucky
— I love Kentucky more than most others, as Devin Leary makes a huge difference.

5. Tennesse
— The Vols offense will step back slightly, but the defense will be a little better.

6. South Carolina
— Shane Beamer is a year away from a nasty roster.

7. Ole Miss
— Ole Miss struggles last year down the stretch have me concerned.

8. Arkansas
— Sam Pittman has a potent offense, but can the defense improve?

9. Texas A&M
— Jimbo Fisher will make a bowl, but 7-5 is still the ceiling.

10. Missouri
— Can Eli Drinkwitz survive the season? This will be interesting.

11. Mississippi State
— Will Rogers has experience, but this is an offensive overhaul.

12. Florida
— The roster isn’t ready for this schedule.

13. Auburn
— Year one of the rebuild under Hugh Freeze won’t lead to a bowl game.

14. Vanderbilt
— Clark Lea had some momentum last season, but it won’t last.
