— We roll onto the ACC for top-tier defensive lines and there aren’t a ton of surprises here.

1. Florida State

— Jared Verse is the best rush end in the conference and there is solid depth up front. This should be a strength for the Seminoles.

Oct 29, 2022; Tallahassee, Florida, USA; Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets quarterback Zach Pyron (14) is sacked by Florida State Seminoles defensive end Jared Verse (5) during the second half at Doak S. Campbell Stadium.

2. Clemson

— Ruke Orhorhoro and Tyler Davis are one of the best DT duos in the nation and they just need an EDGE to emerge (Xavier Thomas finally?).

Clemson defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro (33) and defensive end Regan Upshaw (53) run on the field with teammates before kickoff with Syracuse before the game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York, Friday, October 15, 2021.

3. Miami

— Leonard Taylor is elite and Akheem Mesidor should have a breakout season.

Sep 10, 2022; Miami Gardens, Florida, USA; Miami Hurricanes defensive lineman Leonard Taylor (56) celebrates after sacking Southern Miss Golden Eagles quarterback Zach Wilcke (not pictured) during the second half at Hard Rock Stadium.

4. Pitt

— They lose a lot but I’m not betting against them as they’ve produced linemen consistently and are always near the top in sacks.

Oct 1, 2022; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA; Pittsburgh Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi reacts on the sidelines against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets during the fourth quarter Georgia Tech won 26-21.at Acrisure Stadium.
