The 2022 season has ended, and with many awards announced this weekend, it is up to the voters to decide who takes home some prestigious hardware this year. 


Heisman Trophy

The Heisman Trophy is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football.

Caleb Williams fell short of the playoffs and a PAC 12 Championship but managed to inch in front of CJ Stroud. Blake Corum stays at #3 and should have been a Heisman finalist. Drake Maye and Hendon Hooker round out the top five after impressive seasons that shouldn't go unnoticed.

Davey O'Brien Award

The Davey O'Brien Award is presented annually to the best QB in College Football.

Caleb Williams has proved himself as the best QB this year and should handily win this award with CJ Stroud at #2. Drake Maye and Max Duggan switched spots due to the absolute tear Duggan has been on lately despite the conference championship loss.

No changes in the top five this week. Chase Brown has extended his lead over Blake Corum and should win this award has he performs better with a worse offensive line. Abandikana has been extremely impressive but will, unfortunately, fall short, and Mohamed Ibrahim deserves love for the season he is having after tearing his ACL last year.
