This article goes in-depth on some of the most entertaining NIL deals that have come together since NIL was introduced a little over a year ago.

Dieunerst Collin (OL Lake Erie College) – Popeyes

This is the latest NIL deal to gather attention. About ten years ago, there was a video on Vine that showed Dieunerst Collin in a Popeyes line and it went viral. Flack forward to today, and Collin is playing offensive lineman for Lake Erie College. People found that out and it started going around Twitter. It only took about three days for Popeyes to reach out to him for a NIL deal.

The Popeyes meme kid, who is now a college football player, has been offered a NIL deal from Popeyes.

Decoldest Crawford (WR Portal) – SOS Heating & Cooling

Decoldest Crawford is a wide receiver from Louisiana who committed and played for Nebraska last season. He, unfortunately, suffered an injury and is now in the transfer portal. He recently took a visit to Jackson State, so it’ll be interesting to see where he goes. While at Nebraska, he signed a NIL deal with SOS Heating & Cooling, which is funny considering his name. Crawford went to the company owner’s house and filmed a commercial that aired on local tv.

Mo Ibrahim Jr. (RB Minnesota) – “Mo-Pack” Gushers

Minnesota star running back Mo Ibrahim Jr. has been seen eating gushers on the sideline during games and it got the attention of the fruit snack company. They agreed on a NIL deal and Ibrahim was able to create his own box of gushers called the “Mo-Pack”.

Last month, Minnesota RB Mo Ibrahim was seen eating Gushers on the sideline.

Now, he’s signed an NIL deal with General Mills for his own Gushers “Mo Packs.” pic.twitter.com/AuhzSoZLgO

Bijan Robinson (RB Texas) – Bijan Mustardson Dijon Mustard

Bijan Robinson got a really cool NIL deal with a dijon mustard brand and got his own mustard called Bijan Mustardson Dijon Mustard, which is obviously a play-off of his name. Robinson will be in the upcoming NFL Draft and should be one of the top running backs taken.

12 players with the last name Reese – Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups has signed 12 players with the last name Reese to NIL deals. The deal includes an orange suit, Reese’s cup-shaped cuff links, a chain that says “Reese” on it, and a mini fridge to keep footballs at the ideal temperature. The 12 players are Andrew Reese (DB Delaware State), Brody Reese (DL Tulsa), Cameron Reese (DE Troy), Courtney Reese (RB UNLV), David Reese (LB Florida), James Reese (DB Tennessee State), John Reese (S Auburn), Max Reese (TE Eastern Michigan), Michael Reese (DE Duke), Otis Reese (S Ole Miss), Quinton Reese (S Liberty), Richard Reese (RB Baylor).

Tommy Brown (OL Colorado) – Shinesty Underwear Model

This is probably the funniest out of all of them. Colorado offensive lineman Tommy Brown is now also an underwear model. He signed his NIL deal with the Shinesty clothing brand and the pictures are something to see.

Colorado offensive lineman Tommy Brown signs with @Shinesty, becoming the first ever college football NIL underwear model.

"When you have a body this good, you deserve to be paid," Brown said.
