Off to a strong start
Right from the opening drive, Jalen Milroe set the pace for the Alabama offense. Initially, Georgia came out with a strong game plan, but Milroe quickly responded, using his agility to extend plays and move the pocket. In the first quarter, Alabama scored 21 points without reply. At the 10:11 mark, Milroe ran for a seven-yard touchdown, followed by a 16-yard pass to Jam Miller at 4:36 and a seven-yard run by Germie Bernard at 2:21, bringing the score to 21-0.
Jalen Milroe’s ability to lead the offense was important. While under pressure, he remained calm, avoiding rushed throws. In the second quarter, Georgia’s defense adjusted, making it tougher for Milroe and his team, but but his resilience kept Alabama in the game. It’s fitting that the leading QBs end up facing off.

The Dagger
At around the 2:18 mark in the fourth quarter, Jalen Milroe silenced his critics. With the help of his offensive line and the talented freshman Ryan Williams, the Crimson Tide engineered a thrilling drive. Milroe connected with Williams for a 75-yard go-ahead score. He then connected with Germie Bernard for the 2-point conversion, leading to a significant momentum shift.

Heisman front-runner?
Jalen Milroe’s performance was another milestone in his career. His ability to deliver under pressure, both with his arm and legs, demonstrated why he’s one of the most impactful players in college football. If he can keep this up, Milroe could lead the Crimson Tide to the SEC Championship, possibly the national championship, and position himself as the Heisman Trophy winner.
