Every weekend, I like to try and predict the upset of the weekend. In week one, I picked Duke to upset Clemson. I chose Texas to beat Alabama in week two. Then this past weekend, I said that Florida would defeat Tennessee. Last week, I had UCLA over Utah, and unfortunately picked up my first loss of the season.

This week, I had a hard time finding my upset pick. At first, I was looking at Oregon State over Utah, and Kentucky over Florida, but then I saw that both of those were technically favored in those games. I looked a little harder and came away with Arkansas over Texas A&M.

Sep 24, 2022; Arlington, Texas, USA; Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Evan Stewart (1) is tackled by Arkansas Razorbacks defensive back Hudson Clark (17) during the second quarter at AT&T Stadium. twenty-third ranked Texas A&M beat tenth-ranked Arkansas 23-21 last season.

Texas A&M is a six-point favorite on Saturday in their rivalry game at AT&T Stadium. The Aggies just lost their starting QB, Conner Weigman, for the season, and Max Johnson seems to be the starter. On the other side, Arkansas will be mad after losing back-to-back close games vs. BYU and then nearly upsetting LSU. I see them bouncing back in this game vs. a depleted Texas A&M team. I like KJ Jefferson and I’m sure he’s looking to get back on track as well. The Razorbacks also lost the Southwest Classic last year, so they will be out for revenge.

Oct 23, 2021; Little Rock, Arkansas, USA; Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback KJ Jefferson (1) motions to a teammate at the line during the first quarter against the Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions at War Memorial Stadium.

The line is currently Texas A&M -6 and the money line is Arkansas +198 and Texas A&M -244. That Arkansas ML might be something to keep an eye on.
