You have to scroll a good way down the list to find the first Big 12 team, Arizona State, which is at 100-1. They have the same odds as Indiana, which hasn’t won a bowl game since 1991, and Nebraska, a team that just made their first bowl game since 2016.
Here is a listing of Big 12 schools:
Arizona State: 100-1

Kansas State: 150-1
Texas Tech: 175-1
Baylor: 200-1

Utah: 250-1
TCU: 500-1
UCF: 500-1
West Virginia: 500-1
Arizona, Cincinnati, Houston, Oklahoma State: Not Listed
Considering the season is still a little less than six months away, all of this is basically a shot in the dark, but it does show that not many people are taking the Big 12 seriously. It may play an entertaining brand of football, but the money doesn’t believe it will amount to big-time success.
Can any of these schools make a serious move in 2025 to try and change this narrative?
