Ohio State students wanted to celebrate in The Horseshoe last night. While the gates were locked, that did not slow them down.

Fans have different ways of celebrating a monumental victory. For Ohio State students, that included breaking into their football stadium, The Horseshoe, so that they could storm the field. Luckily, most of it was caught on video.

The process started with a large group of students gathering at a gate. They did not let the fact that the gate was locked slow them down though. As you can see below, they decided to apply a medieval battering method to try and get through the frontlines, while security calmly watched on the other side:

While the video does not show the students breaking through the gate, this next video and picture proves that they did get the job done:

Mission accomplished for the Buckeye faithful. The party is sure to continue in the coming days in and around Columbus as Ohio State celebrates their ninth National Championship, and their first since 2014.
