Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith concluded his magical true freshman season with yet another memorable performance during last night’s National Championship victory over Notre Dame. After the game he took the time to respond to a social media post which had caught his attention.
Smith entered the game after having his least productive outing of the season against Texas. He responded by grabbing five receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown:

More important than his stat line was his reception late in the fourth quarter which put the Buckeyes in field goal range and eventually sealed the game. It was a perfect way for Smith to finish his season and to silence any critics, no matter how few there are.
