I’m going to take a dive into whether a certain number is OVER or UNDER. Easy enough, right?
Brian Kelly career Power Five national titles.
OVER/UNDER 0.5
He is off to a good start at LSU, but this won’t be easy. With Texas and Oklahoma coming to the SEC, recruiting in the state of Texas will be even harder, and a few in-state kids could be poached. And, of course, you have to deal with Alabama, Georgia, and others in the SEC and Ohio State, Clemson, USC, and others nationally. 2019 was lighting in a bottle, and BK is a better coach than Ed Orgeron, but everything has to fall in place perfectly, and I can’t see him hoisting a national title.
Prediction: UNDER

Penn State regular season wins next season.
OVER/UNDER 10
What’s this narrative about Penn State possibly running the table? I’ve heard it somewhere but can’t believe it. I like Drew Allar, and the running back room and the defense will be solid, especially on the back end, but 10 wins is the goal, not the national title. Let’s assume losses to Ohio State and Michigan as usual — that leaves a perfect run in the rest of the schedule to go 10-2. It could happen, but they could also be tripped up by Iowa or Maryland. The safe bet is under.
Prediction: UNDER

Drake Maye touchdown passes next season.
OVER/UNDER 40
He loses some weapons and his OC, but Maye is the best QB in college football to me. He had 38 touchdowns last season, so a progression to 40 or more isn’t out of the question and is likely to me. They play a lot of susceptible defenses next season, and I think there will be an effort to make him a serious Heisman candidate after a late run last season. Give me the over.
Prediction: OVER
