The rich, keep getting richer. A team from either the SEC or Big Ten has won the last six CFP titles. These
teams are getting the best recruits. Only four of the five-star players on this list signed outside of the
SEC or Big Ten. Those players are going to Notre Dame, Cal, FSU, and Miami.

2025 five-star QB Keelon Russell from Duncanville, TX (Duncanville) - Committed to Alabama

Eight of the 16 teams in the SEC signed at least one of the players. Texas signed four, while Georgia,
Alabama, and LSU got three each. All four of the Longhorn signees are on the defensive side of the ball.
Georgia got two of the top ten recruits to bolster the defensive line. LSU signed the only running back on
the list.

The Big Ten signed ten of the five-star recruits. Ohio State and Oregon got three each. In addition to the
top player on the list, Michigan brought in one of the top offensive linemen to protect him. Oregon
signed the top wide receiver on the list.
