Top 10 WRs in the SEC in 2025

The SEC is poised to have a major increase in production at the wide receiver position this coming season, and these 10 receivers will be the reason why.

The SEC, a league known for its wide receiver production, is poised to have another great year at the position. Many talented receivers are returning to the league with another year of experience under their belt, along with some newcomers looking to make their mark. Pair that with a better crop at quarterback, and you’ve got the potential for half a dozen 1,000-yard receivers come December. 

Let’s rank the top receivers from the SEC in 2025.

10. O’Mega Blake, Arkansas

2024 Stats: 32 REC, 795 YDS, 9 TDs, 24.8 AVG

Blake joined the Arkansas Razorbacks as a transfer from Charlotte after having an incredible year for the 49ers. Blake is a deep threat with a large catch radius and looks to replace the SEC’s receiving yard leader from a year ago, Andrew Armstrong, who is now in the NFL.

9. Ryan Wingo, Texas

2024 Stats: 29 REC, 472 YDS, 2 TD, 16.3 AVG

Wingo might not have nearly the production from a year ago as the majority of this list, but he may have the best upside. With Matthew Golden and Isaih Bond leaving for the NFL, Wingo is poised to be QB Arch Manning’s number one target in 2025. If that’s the case, look for Wingo’s production to increase significantly. 

8. Nic Anderson, LSU

2023 Stats: 38 REC, 798 YDS, 10 TD, 21 AVG 

Anderson transferred to LSU from Oklahoma after missing the 2024 season due to injury. Anderson is a big-play threat every time he gets the ball, made apparent by his 21-yard per catch average in 2023. Anderson will be a welcome addition to QB Garrett Nussmier‘s arsenal of talented receivers. 

7. Cayden Lee, Ole Miss

2024 Stats: 57 REC, 874 YDS, 2 TD, 15.3 AVG

Lee made a name for himself during the back end of last season with the absence of Tre Harris. With Harris sidelined due to injury, Lee became one of QB Jaxson Dart‘s favorite targets. Lee has sure hands and some big-play ability, boasting the most 20-yard-plus catches from a year ago amongst returning receivers. Look for Lee to be a crutch for first-year starting QB Austin Simmons. 

6. Germie Bernard, Alabama 

2024 Stats: 50 REC, 794 YDS, 2 TD, 15.9 AVG

Bernard became Alabama’s most consistent receiver last season, even with inconsistent quarterback play from Jalen Milroe. With more consistent quarterback play and being reunited with OC Ryan Grubb, Bernard could be set for a special season. Bernard has increased his production by roughly 300 yards a year, putting him on pace to reach the 1,000-yard mark this season. 

5. Eric Singleton Jr., Auburn 

2024 Stats: 56 REC, 754 YDS, 3 TD, 13.5 AVG

Singleton became one of the most coveted transfers when he left Georgia Tech for the transfer portal this offseason. The Auburn Tigers and Hugh Freeze were able to lure Singleton to the Plains, where he’ll be a top target for QB Jackson Arnold. Singleton has nine receptions of 40 yards or more over the last two seasons and did so in Tech’s heavy run offense. In Auburn’s more pass-friendly offensive scheme, Singleton looks to take the next step. 

4. Kevin Coleman Jr., Missouri 

2024 Stats: 74 REC, 932 YDS, 6 TD, 12.6 AVG

Coleman played at Mississippi State and tallied more yards than any returning SEC receiver last year. A year ago, Mississippi State was the worst team in the league, with Coleman being one of the few bright spots. Missouri is a better team than last year’s Mississippi State, and Coleman should have a higher ceiling with the Tigers. If Coleman can get comfortable in his new offense, he will be a dangerous offensive threat this fall. 

3. Aaron Anderson, LSU 

2024 Stats: 61 REC, 884 YDS, 5 TD, 14.5 AVG

Anderson saw a big jump in production during his sophomore outing last season and looks to continue that trend in 2025. Anderson should be the number one target for Heisman Trophy contender Nussmeier as LSU looks to make a playoff run after a disappointing season last year. If they are to be successful in this endeavor, Anderson will be a big part of it. 

2. Cam Coleman, Auburn 

2024 Stats: 37 REC, 598 YDS, 8 TD, 16.2 AVG

While Coleman’s stats might not look that impressive as a whole, more than half of them came in the last three games of the 2024 season (22 REC, 306 YDS, 6 TD). Coleman started slow as a freshman, but was arguably the most explosive receiver in the SEC in November. With what should be an improvement at quarterback with Arnold coming in to replace Peyton Thorne, Coleman has the potential to earn first-team All-SEC honors. He would become the first Auburn wide receiver to do so since 1994. 

1. Ryan Williams, Alabama

2024 Stats: 48 REC, 865 YDS, 8 TD, 18 AVG

Williams had an electric freshman season at the Capstone and is poised to have an even better one this year. In 2024, Williams recorded the most receiving yards of any SEC freshman since 2016, and did so despite the inconsistencies in the passing game from Milroe. If the quarterback play improves this year, a Biletnikoff Award could be in Williams’s future.
