Ott exploded during a 49-31 victory over Arizona with 274 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 carries. He also had two receptions for 10 yards.

RB CJ Donaldson – West Virginia

With 23 carries for 106 yards during West Virginia’s 33-10 victory at Virginia Tech, Donaldson continues to prove himself as one of the nation’s early season true freshman surprises.

RB Kaytron Allen – Penn State

Allen enjoyed his best game in Happy Valley with 111 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries during the victory over Central Michigan.

RB Quinshon Judkins – Ole Miss

Continuing his impressive season, Judkins rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries during the 35-27 victory over Tulsa.

Taylor had four receptions for 34 yards during a 38-0 victory over New Mexico.

WR Tetairoa McMillan – Arizona

In a 49-31 loss to Cal, McMillan had three receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown.

WR Matthew Golden – Houston

Golden had four receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown during a 34-27 victory over Rice.

WR Barrion Brown – Kentucky

Brown excelled on Saturday against Northern Illinois with four receptions for 102 yards and two touchdowns. He and fellow true freshman Dane Key continue to form a lethal wide receiver duo.

WR Evan Stewart – Texas A&M

Stewart had his first collegiate touchdown during the 23-21 victory over Arkansas. He totaled three receptions for 36 yards in the game.

LB Harold Perkins – LSU

Perkins had a team-leading eight tackles during a 38-0 victory over New Mexico.

LB Jaishawn Barham – Maryland

Barham had a team-leading eight tackles, and also a tackle for a loss, during a tough 34-27 loss to Michigan.

LB Abdul Carter – Penn State

Carter had five tackles and a pass break-up during the 33-14 victory over Central Michigan.

LB Gabe Jacas – Illinois

Jacas had his best game of the season against Chattanooga with eight tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack.

LB Shemar James – Florida

In a loss to Tennessee, James had three tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack.

DB Malaki Starks – Georgia

Starks continued the impressive start to his collegiate career with six tackles and one pass break-up during a 39-22 victory over Kent State.

DB AJ Haulcy – New Mexico

Haulcy had his best collegiate performance with 10 tackles during a 38-0 loss at LSU.

DB Gavin Gibson – Maryland

Gibson had three tackles, a tackle for a loss and a sack during a 34-27 loss to Michigan.

DB DQ Smith – South Carolina

Smith had three tackles and his first career interception during a 56-20 victory over Charlotte.

DL Shemar Stewart – Texas A&M

Stewart had four tackles, one tackle for a loss and one sack during the Aggies victory over Arkansas.

DL Aaron Graves – Iowa

Graves had two tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks during a 27-10 victory over Rutgers.
