Interior offensive linemen need to be tough, they need to be strong, and they need to be mean. Alabama’s Tyler Booker was already all of these things before his appearance at the NFL Combine but if you wanted more proof, his press conference quotes solidified this.

While quotes like this would sell amazingly well on NIL t-shirts, Booker won’t need that extra cash since he is a likely first-round NFL Draft pick in next month’s draft.
The 2024 First-Team All-American had already solidified his status as one of the top interior offensive linemen in next month’s draft, but further enhanced his stock in Indianapolis with a 5.38 40, 27-inch vertical, 7-foot-11 broad and 4.84 20-yard shuttle on his 6-foot-5, 321-pound frame.
NFL general managers are looking for maulers on their offensive line. Nothing that Booker did or said during combine week will lessen anyone’s belief that he will excel at the next level.
