It has been a rough few weeks for the well-known SEC fanatic Paul Finebaum. The Big Ten winning two consecutive National Championships put a huge damper on his argument that the SEC was still the unquestioned top conference. Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule was happy to add to Finebaum’s misery with this entertaining social media post:

Coach Rhule’s post does a great job illustrating the timeline of comments made by Finebaum that led to his reaction. And while an argument can easily be made that Nebraska shouldn’t be puffing out its chest after making its first bowl since 2016, social media beefs are what we all need during the off-season.
If Nebraska continues on an upward trajectory, you can expect more comments from Coach Rhule in 2025, while another non-championship season from SEC will continue to make Finebaum’s hole deeper.
