Last week I rolled out my list for the top performances from the quarterbacks. Guess what? We’re back at it again with another edition that won’t disappoint. Without further ado, here are this week’s top performances.
Elite Week 12 Quarterback performers:
Carson Beck, Georgia
25/40, 347 yards, 2 TDs, 1 rushing TD vs. Tennessee
When the lights shine the brightest, the stars come out to play. Carson Beck stepped up, using his legs more than usual, which significantly elevated the offense. Despite earlier performances falling short of Georgia’s quarterback standards, he delivered against a talented defensive unit. Most importantly, Beck protected the football. Even without their star running back, this is the Bulldog team that the world is accustomed to seeing.

LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina
More Sports News
21/30, 353 yards, 5 TD’s, 1 INT vs. Missouri
The ability to evade pressure and move the pocket is refreshing to watch. I admired his quick decisions and pinpoint accuracy with the ball. Last but not least, LaNorris Sellers displays excellent footwork and solid mechanics. He’s a sure bet to be a top-five quarterback next season.

Sam Leavitt, Arizona State
21/34, 275 yards, 3 TD’s vs. Kansas State
Sam Leavitt displayed super quick feet and the ability to throw the ball with touch. He’s also more mobile than he gets credit for.

Devon Dampier, New Mexico
11/25, 175 yards, 1 TD, 28 carries, 193 rushing yards, 3 TD’s vs. Washington State
This game was packed with great plays. Devon Dampier understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. On the ground, he showcased feline quickness and a knack for finishing runs. Through the air, he delivered exactly what was needed.

X- factor:
DJ Lagway, Florida
13/26, 226 yards, 1 TD vs. LSU
Just last year, DJ Lagway was playing high school football, and now he’s thriving at the next level. Despite entering the game at only 85% health, he delivered an impressive performance. What stands out is his ability to work through his progressions and his willingness to operate from the pocket.

Cade Klubnik, Clemson
27/41, 288 yards, 2 TD’s, 1 rushing TD vs. Pittsburgh
Cade Klubnik sealed the game with a decisive long run in the fourth quarter, leaving just 1:25 on the clock. I appreciated how confident he was with the ball, making smart decisions under pressure. He also battled through adversity and powered through tough moments. The Pittsburgh defense was no slouch either, making his performance even more impressive.

Honorable mention:
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
30-41, 340 yards, 3 TD’s, 1 INT vs. Utah
Shedeur Sanders continues to operate at a high level, consistently delivering results. He’s a gifted passer who is determined to win. Once he finds his groove during a game, the defense is in serious trouble. I also admire how he isn’t afraid to attempt tough throws, showing trust in his teammates to make plays.

Luke Altmyer, Illinois
19/32, 231 yards, 2 TD’s vs. Michigan State
Dime City! Luke Altmyer and Pat Bryant are a dynamic duo. With Altmyer’s gunslinger ability, he can make big plays, proving that Illinois is no pushover.
