Last night, on Jon Gruden’s Barstool Sports podcast, former Ohio State quarterback Will Howard was asked about several topics. This included the home playoff game against Tennessee, which is when Howard openly bashed the Vols.

Leading up to the game, a great deal of publicity was given to the Tennessee fans, who traveled north in droves to support their team. However, not as much was given to the Vols’ players pre-game antics, which obviously is what Howard and the Buckeyes were more interested in.

“The funny thing is they came out with their shirts off and ran over to the opposite endzone and immediately put them back on. I was like, ‘What the f*** are these clowns doing, man?’” said Howard. “At that moment, I knew we had them.”

A great deal more than this was relevant once the game started, but Howard was also correct that Ohio State “had them”. The outcome was a dominating 42-17 victory for the Buckeyes, which helped catapult them to the National Championship.
