NFL Combine week is here and with it comes the anticipation of knowing that a few players that may not be household names right now will flourish. Here is a list of five offensive players to keep an eye on at the Combine:

WR Savion Williams, TCU

Williams is a physical specimen at 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, so expectations are that he will excel during testing. However, there are lingering questions regarding the crispness of his route-running and inconsistent hands, which haunted him at TCU. If he can quiet these questions during drills and perform up to expectations during testing, he has the potential to quickly improve his draft stock.

WR Kyle Williams, Washington State

Williams, 6-foot-0, 185-pounds, likely won’t excel at most of the testing events, but his speed and route running ability will be on full display. A transfer from UNLV, Williams was extremely productive during his five collegiate seasons. Having totaled 248 receptions for 3,609 yards and 29 touchdowns, Williams’ size is more typical of a slot receiver, but with his speed and big play ability, playing on the outside is also possible.

Nov 23, 2024; Corvallis, Oregon, USA; Washington State Cougars wide receiver Kyle Williams (2) runs the ball for a touchdown during the third quarter against the Oregon State Beavers at Reser Stadium.

WR Isaac TeSlaa, Arkansas

TeSlaa is already a good story considering he transferred to Arkansas from Division II Hillsdale College prior to the 2023 season. While his production wasn’t eye-popping during his two seasons with the Razorbacks (62 receptions for 896 yards and five touchdowns), he has the potential to grab plenty of attention this week. After already impressing during Senior Bowl week, expectations are that TeSlaa will be amongst the best wide receivers in both the vertical and broad jumps. At 6-foot-2, 210-pounds, if he can run under a 4.50 40, he will move up draft boards.

OL Hollin Pierce, Rutgers

As with TeSlaa, Pierce is another good story. He arrived at Rutgers as a 450-pound walk-on and departed as a Second-Team All-Big Ten performer. Listed at 6-foot-8 and 344-pounds, his physical stature is enough to wow scouts. He put in a very solid week of work during the East-West Shrine Bowl, which quickly put him on a list of players worth watching at the Combine. While he is still raw in some aspects of the game, his size, strength and wing span are things that can’t be taught.

Michigan Wolverines defensive end Jaylen Harrell (32) rushes against Rutgers Scarlet Knights offensive lineman Hollin Pierce (72) during the first half at Michigan Stadium, Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023. Rutgers lost 31-7.

RB Marcus Yarns, Delaware

Most FCS recruits arrive at the combine surrounded by a bit of mystery. Yarns, 5-foot-11 and 190-pounds, will be part of a loaded running back group, so expect the competition amongst all of the attendees to be top-level. With the Blue Hens, he rushed for 2,344 yards and 23 touchdowns, while averaging 6.4 yards per carry. He also showcased his versatility by reeling in 64 receptions for 812 yards and 11 touchdowns. Yarns should do very well in testing and has the potential to be a stand out performer during receiving drills.
