9. Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

With the 9th pick, the Seahawks selected Charles Cross from Mississippi State. Cross is possibly the best pass blocker in this draft, but due to playing in the Miss State air-raid offense, his run blocking will be a bit of an unknown. With Drew Lock at QB, the Seahawks will likely have to run the ball more than look to pass next year, meaning that Cross could be out of his element early on. Overall, a really solid prospect, but his run-blocking has not been demonstrated enough at the college level for me to feel too comfortable with the pick. I also had Kenyon Green ranked above him on my prospect evals. Could be good, especially once Seattle has the personnel required to air the ball out more often.
