Georgia players regularly impress during the NFL Combine. The list is extremely long. Now everyone can add a new name to the list, Jared Wilson. The center entered the event without much fanfare but left as the likely top player at his position during next month’s NFL Draft.

Wilson’s second 40 time, 4.84, made him the fastest center in NFL Combine history and the fifth fastest offensive lineman ever. And he did it after measuring in at 6-foot-3, 320-pounds.
It is important to note that while Wilson isn’t a household name, he has also proven himself on the football field at Georgia. After playing mostly as a backup from 2021 to 2023, he earned the starting job in 2024 which resulted in a second-team All-SEC performance.
It will be interesting to see where Wilson is drafted in April. When it comes to the offensive line, tackles are always the priority, but after that guards and centers usually fight for positioning. And after Wilson’s performance in Indianapolis, he punched all of the competition in the mouth.
