Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

2024 Stats: 374 Attempts, 2,601 Yards, 7.0 Avg, 29 TD 23 Receptions, 138 Yards, 6.0 Avg, 1 TD

Ashton Jeanty became the starter in 2023. He had 1,347 yards and a career-high 43 rushing touchdowns. Jeanty finished as runner-up in the 2024 Heisman Trophy voting after rushing for 2,601 and averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He was a unanimous AP All-American.

Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

2024 Stats: 281 Attempts, 1,660 Yards, 5.9 Avg, 15 TD 38 Receptions, 373 Yards, 9.8 Avg, 2 TD

Omarion Hampton cracked up 1,504 yards as a sophomore in 2023. Hampton is also a threat as a receiver with 635 career receptions for an 8.7-yard average. He was twice named first-team all-ACC and twice named an AP All-American.

Kaleb Johnson, Iowa

2024 Stats: 240 Attempts, 1,537 Yards, 6.4 Avg, 21 TD 22 Receptions, 188 Yards, 8.5 Avg, 2 TD

Kaleb Johnson played in 23 games and rushed for 1,242 yards during his first three years at Iowa. In 2024 he set a single-season Iowa record with 21 touchdowns. Johnson was named first-team all-Big Ten and a consensus first-team All-American.

TreyVeyon Henderson, Ohio State

2024 Stats: 144 Attempts, 1,016 Yards, 7.1 Avg, 10 TD 27 Receptions, 284 Yards, 10.5 Avg, 1 TD

TreyVeyon Henderson is a four-year player for the Buckeyes. He set a freshman record for 277 yards in a game. He rushed for 1,248 as a freshman before being limited by injuries his sophomore season. Henderson finished his career with 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns.

Quinshon Judkins Ohio State

2024 Stats: 194 Attempts, 1,060 Yards, 5.5 Avg, 14 TD 22 Receptions, 161 Yards, 7.3 Avg, 2 TD

Quinshon Judkins rushed for 2,825 yards in two seasons a Mississippi before transferring to Ohio State in 2024. He was SEC Freshman of the Year in 2022 when he rushed for 1,567 yards. Judkins was twice named first-team All-SEC and third-team All-Big Ten in 2024.

Dylan Sampson, Tennessee

2024 Stats: 258 Attempts, 1,491 Yards, 5.8 Avg, 22 TD 19 Receptions, 141 Yards, 7.4 Avg

Dylan Sampson rushed for just under 1,000 in his first two seasons in Knoxville. He came into 2024 as the starter and rushed for almost 1,500 yards. Sampson was named first-team All-SEC, SEC Offensive Player of the Year, and second-team AP All-American.

Jarquez Hunter, Auburn

2024 Stats: 187 Attempts, 1,201 Yards, 6.4 Avg, 8 TD 21 Receptions, 155 Yards, 7.4 Avg, 1 TD

Jarquez Hunter was named the starter in his junior year. He rushed for 909 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was named second-team All-SEC in that season and 2024 first-team All-SEC. Hunter had the longest touchdown run in program history at 94-yard.

Devin Neal, Kansas

2024 Stats: 219 Attempts, 1,266 Yards, 5.8 Avg, 16 TD 24 Receptions, 254 Yards, 10.6 Avg, 1 TD

Devin Neal is a three-year starter for the Jayhawks. He has 4,343 career rushing yards which is a school record and 49 touchdowns. He also had 711 receiving yards with 9.2 yards per catch. In 2023 and 2024 Neal was named second-team All-Big 12.

Cam Skattebo played two seasons at Sacramento St. and rushed for 1,372 yards in 2022 before transferring to ASU. In 2024, he broke the ASU record for total rushing yards in a season. Skattebo was named first-team All-Big 12, first-team All-American, and finished 5th in the Heisman Trophy voting

Brashard Smith, SMU

2024 Stats: 235 Attempts, 1,332 Yards, 5.7 Avg, 14 TD 39 Receptions, 327 Yards, 8.4 Avg, 4 TD

Brashard Smith spent three years at Miami and was used primarily as a receiver. In 2024 he transferred to SMU to become the lead running back. He had over 1.300 yards rushing he added 39 receptions for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns. Smith was named 2024 first-team All-ACC
