The draft is well underway folks with both rounds one and two now
finished. As always there will be a lot of opinions with some being
spot on, or just downright outrageous. Now everyone feels good
about themselves along with their picks, but some are very
questionable. Here I will give my day one losers.
1. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons signed Kirk Cousins out of Free Agency to a 4
year deal worth 180 million with 100 million guaranteed. The only
thing about that is that they went & drafted a quarterback with a top
ten pick at number eight overall. For Cousins case I’m sure he is
upset, but especially when they call you right before the pick to let
you know. I could see if they paid him less or not taken a QB at all,
but that wasn’t the case. Michael Penix Jr will be 24 by the time the season
starts & you’re expecting him to sit for 3 plus years? Just doesn’t
make sense to me.

2. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills decided to pick. Keon Coleman with the
33rd overall pick at the beginning of the second round. While I like
the pick, I believe they need much more than that after losing Stefon
Diggs along with Gabe Davis. Also their defense needs some help.

3. Denver Broncos
Bo Nix had one of the best seasons ever in Oregon history,
but that doesn’t mean he will be successful at the next level. While
he put up numbers in college, I feel like he will struggle early in the
NFL. He is smart with talent, but I don’t know if it’ll be quit enough.
They let go of Russell Wilson to the Pittsburgh Steelers so no matter
what they will need him at some point.

4. Carolina Panthers
While I like the pick of Xavier Legette, he kind of reminds
me of Kelvin Benjamin. He only had one season really of great
production, which always raises eyebrows. Eventually I think he
will be a player, but you need a prospect immediately to come in and dominate. The defense surely needs help, but they didn’t do bad. I
just feel they need a lot more. Bryce Young needs somebody to
protect him more than anything.

5. New York Giants
I love Malik Nabers, but I just don’t think Daniel Jones is
the guy to make it happen. He has shown to me that he is not the guy. While Nabers is an elite prospect, I just don’t think Jones can
make him reach his full potential. He will make them better, but I
think Daniel Jones days are numbered.
New #Giants WR Malik Nabers just met Daniel Jones for the first time, but it was so awkward the social media team decided not to post it.
