As the college football season has ended, it is now time for the All-Star games. We have several games now to showcase potential NFL Talent including the East-West Shrine Bowl, Hula Bowl, and the
NFLPA Collegiate Bowl just to name a few. Here we take a look at
the premier event of them all, the Senior Bowl, and take a look at
who to watch out for on both the American and National teams.
Let’s begin with the American squad.
1. RB Jaylen Wright, Tennessee
After a very productive first couple of seasons with the
Vols, the Durham, North Carolina product finally got the starting role. Jaylen Wright left
no doubt as he turned into one of the best backs in not only the SEC but the entire country. With his toughness, quickness, and
breakaway speed, Wright finished the year with 1,103 yards along and four touchdowns. In a crowded backfield, he averaged a whopping
7.4 yards per carry. Wright should turn a lot of heads this week.

2. QB Michael Pratt, Tulane
While at Tulane, Michael Pratt was the starter for nearly his
entire career and he performed well right out of the gate. Not
only that, he improved every year even without top talent around
him. He has been seen as the best Group of Five, and one of the best QBs in the country.
Pratt possesses solid size (6’3 220) along with more than enough
athleticism to escape and make plays with his legs. While not
having the strongest arm, he makes up for it with his accuracy and
anticipation. He would end the season throwing for 2,406 yards
(65.4%) and 22 touchdowns with only five interceptions. As of now, he is a day-three guy in most peoples eyes, but he will certainly move up the boards with a great week.

If you’re a team who needs a better backup QB, I’d think strongly about Tulane’s Michael Pratt in the middle rounds of the 2024 draft.
Fundamentally sound passer with good accuracy and athleticism. Could see him sticking around the NFL 10+ years. pic.twitter.com/EALgLMRNr9

3. TE Jahiem Bell, Florida State
As one of the most, if not the most athletic guys to be in
Mobile this week, Jahiem Bell is the prime definition of a Swiss Army
knife. Originally starting his P5 career at South Carolina, he would
get snaps at not only Tight End but also RB and H-back. His performance made him a top Transfer Portal target.
After he took his talents back home to Florida State, he focused solely on TE while further showing his versatility with a
few snaps at WR. That turned out to be great for both sides as he
shined, while the Seminoles also went undefeated in the regular
season. Bell ended the season with 39 receptions for 503 yards and two
scores. He also added another on the ground. I would keep a close
eye on him.

4. WR Ladd McConkey, Georgia
While Ladd McConkey came to Georgia he was an afterthought, that
would change quickly. He redshirted his first year but showed his worth in the following years. His 2022 season, his second on the field was
his best year, as he went off for 58 receptions for 762 yards and
seven touchdowns en route to a second national title.
2024 was supposed to be an even more dominant year, but injuries would
deter him from that. While only playing in limited action he still
would show why he is one of the most underrated pass catchers in
the country. In five games he amassed 30 receptions for 478 yards
and two scores. His biggest strength is his route running to go along
with sure hands. He also has some deceptive speed. It would be in
every DB’s interest to not underestimate and for teams to draft him.
If this Ladd McConkey’s final play as a Georgia Bulldog, what a way to go out.pic.twitter.com/iRdvmmTAS2

5. S Kamren Kinchens, Miami
When it comes to Kamren Kinchens, he just might be the most
productive player with the most accolades out of all Senior Bowl participants this week. In 2022 he was a First
Team All-American along with First Team All-ACC. He was named a First Team All-ACC player once again in 2023. Kinchens has all of the tools to be a first-round pick as is a sure and willing tackler, and a fantastic ballhawk, arguably the best in the entire draft.
He finished the 2023 season with 59
tackles along with a team-high five interceptions. If he shows
anything close to what he has the past couple of seasons at the Senior Bowl, he should
have no worries come draft day.
