The Best Interior Offensive Line Values from the 2023 Draft

Mike Farrell breaks down why Andrew Vorhees, O’Cyrus Torrence, and others are the best IOL values…

It’s not always the biggest names that are key to the NFL Draft. There’s a thing called value, and here are some valuable picks at positions. Here are the top five IOL values.

1. Andrew Vorhees, Baltimore Ravens

— A last round flier on a guy who would have been top three rounds without his injury during the combine is a good pick. He won’t play next season but watch out after that.

Mar 5, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Southern California offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees (OL47) during the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.

2. John Michael Schmitz, NY Giants

— I think he’s a 10-year starting center in this league, so he’s a great second round value.

Mar 5, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Minnesota offensive lineman John Michael Schmitz, Jr. (OL39) during the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.

3. Olu Oluwatimi, Seattle Seahawks

— He got overlooked a bit with the other centers in this draft, but as a fifth rounder, he could provide serious value as a down-the-line starter.

Feb 2, 2023; Mobile, AL, USA; National offensive lineman Olusegun Oluwatimi of Michigan (55) practices during the third day of Senior Bowl week at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.

4. O’Cyrus Torrence, Buffalo Bills

– A round one value in round two is always good, and he’s one of the best OL in this draft.

Florida Gators offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence (54), left, runs a blocking drill with Florida Gators offensive lineman Richard Gouraige (76) during the 2023 NFL Pro Day held at Condron Family Indoor Practice Facility in Gainesville, FL on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

5. Braeden Daniels, Washington Commanders

— I love this fourth round value for the Commanders, as Daniels is a nasty run blocker.

Mar 5, 2023; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Utah offensive lineman Braeden Daniels (OL12) during the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium.
